Giovanni has developed a strong track record in both corporate and startup environments. Currently serving as Head of Open Innovation at Aeroporti di Roma, where he is building the airport of the future, leading international partnerships, and embedding Artificial Intelligence, Automation & Robotics solutions in the aviation sector. Aeroporti di Roma is pioneering the future of aviation industry. thanks to its unique Open Innovation Model the Airport operator attracted more than 1.000 worldwide startups and has managed more than 40 PoCs in the last 3 years to shape the future of the industry.
Previously he demonstrated success in sales strategy at Doctolib, Europe’s leading e-Health platform, and conducted comprehensive M&A and strategic projects at BIP, including market analysis, commercial due diligence, and business planning. He started his career at U-first, an Italian startup revolutionizing queue management.
