Pamela Hill is a distinguished leader in pharmaceutical innovation, currently serving as the Senior Director and Global Head of Open Innovation at AstraZeneca. With over two decades of experience in the industry, Pam has established herself as a pivotal figure in fostering collaborative scientific research and drug discovery. Pam’s career at AstraZeneca began in 2002 as a research scientist in the Infection R&D chemistry team.
Her expertise in medicinal and organic chemistry, coupled with her leadership skills, propelled her through various scientific and leadership roles positions. In 2014, Pam transitioned to the Open Innovation Program, where she has since made significant contributions to the company’s collaborative research efforts.
As the head of AstraZeneca’s Open Innovation program, Pam leads a dynamic initiative aimed at accelerating research and scientific innovation through collaboration.
