About the Role

The Berkeley Innovation Squad is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join the Future of Education Challenge. The Product Manager will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of the challenge, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful implementation and completion of the challenge.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and refine the challenge’s vision, goals, and objectives, ensuring alignment with the broader mission of the Berkeley Innovation Squad.
2. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including academic and industry partners, to gather insights and feedback that will inform the design and execution of the challenge.
3. Oversee the planning and organization of the challenge, including the creation of timelines, roadmaps and resource allocation plans.
4. Work closely with the Squad’s team to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract participants and generate public interest in the challenge.
5. Manage relationships with sponsors, partners, and key stakeholders, maintaining open lines of communication and providing regular updates on the challenge’s progress.
6. Continuously assess and monitor the challenge’s progress, adjusting strategies and tactics as needed to ensure the successful completion of the challenge.
7. Prepare and present reports and updates to the Berkeley Innovation Squad leadership team and other stakeholders on the challenge’s outcomes and impact.
