Open Innovation Squad
Role Description – Only for UC Berkeley Students
This position is not a formal employment opportunity.
As a Mentor for the Open Innovation Squad, you will leverage your deep expertise in Open Innovation or Product Management to mentor and guide students. This voluntary role requires a commitment of 2-3 hours per month and aims to maximize the students’ learning experience.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Open Innovation or Product Management
- Strong mentoring and communication skills
- Passion for innovation and entrepreneurship
- Willingness to dedicate 2-3 hours per month to mentoring students
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and mentorship to students participating in the Open Innovation Squad
- Share insights and best practices in Open Innovation or Product Management
- Assist students in developing and refining their project ideas and strategies
- Participate in periodic meetings and mentoring sessions with students
- Help students navigate challenges and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration
- Offer feedback on students’ progress and provide guidance on their career development
