The VP Business Development role will involve identifying and recruiting potential new members to the Berkeley Innovation Forum, as well as helping to collect new business challenges from existing members. This role will require the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong networking skills, with the ability to build relationships with executives and decision-makers
  • Experience in business development, sales, or marketing preferred
  • Familiarity with Open Innovation and innovation ecosystems
  • Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enthusiasm and passion for innovation and entrepreneurship
