Meet the Staff

Program Director

Sarah Maslov

Program Role: Sarah joined the LSBE team in 2018, leading the program’s launch. She oversees day-to-day operations, student services, admissions, and professional development programming, and serves as academic advisor for students admitted to LSBE.

Background: In her more than 10 years in higher education, Sarah has worked in program administration, curriculum development, academic advising, international education, and as an adjunct writing professor. She holds BAs in English and International Social Justice Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a research MA in Eighteenth Century Studies from The University of York in beautiful York, England.

Student Experience Specialist

Teresa Dinh

Program Role: Teresa primarily works with incoming freshmen and sophomore students with academic, admissions, and program-interest advising. She also assists with LSBE programming such as professional development, program communications, and events coordination.

Background: Since her time as a First-Year Experience Peer Advisor during her undergraduate career, Teresa has had a strong affinity towards helping students navigate their academic/career pathway. She holds a BA in psychology and an MA in Educational Leadership and Policies Study from California State University, Sacramento.

Note: In adherence with campus directives, LSBE advising will postpone in-person services and instead offer remote services through October 2021. Phone lines will be monitored intermittently, so communication via email is strongly recommended. We expect in-person services to resume in Fall 2021.
