Auditing courses is discouraged and instructors have the right to deny auditors without explanation.
Only students enrolled in a graduate degree program at the University of California, Berkeley, are allowed to audit Haas MBA courses. To audit a course you must obtain approval of the course instructor and the MBA Program Director. Permission will not be granted if the stated class size has been reached with enrolled students, even if there are empty seats in the classroom.
People who are not enrolled in a graduate degree program at UC Berkeley are NOT allowed to audit Haas MBA courses, this includes Visiting Scholars, Post Doctorates, concurrent enrollment students, partners of current MBA students, and community members.
