This Year's Keynote Speaker
The Haas School of Business is pleased to announce that Manish Chandra, EWMBA 95, pioneering CEO of the online retail platform Poshmark, will serve as the Berkeley Haas commencement speaker for the Full-Time MBA and Evening & Weekend MBA Class of 2025. The joint commencement ceremony will be held at the Greek Theatre on Friday, May 23 at 2pm.
Chandra applied more than 20 years of experience building and scaling companies to create Poshmark, a social marketplace that combines the human connection of physical shopping with the scale, reach, ease, and selection benefits of ecommerce.
Prior to founding Poshmark in 2011, Chandra co-founded and served as CEO of Kaboodle, an online shopping website. Kaboodle was acquired by Hearst Communications in August 2007. Before Kaboodle, Chandra held executive positions at Versant, Versata (IPO 2000, acquired by Trilogy), and Sybase (IPO 1991, acquired by SAP).
In addition to his MBA from Haas, Chandra holds an MS in computer science from the University of Texas at Austin, and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
Commencement Student Speaker
It brings us great pleasure to share with you the exciting news that Paul Logan has been elected as this year’s Commencement Student Speaker, where he will have the opportunity to represent you, the graduating class, to share experiences and aspirations.
Paul Logan first visited the Bay Area in 2013 on tour with a punk band. He had no idea that five years later he would return to pursue a tech career at unicorn startups like Slack and Postman. In 2021 he attempted his own startup, a detour that led him to Berkeley Haas.
At Haas, Paul coached peers in public speaking as president of Improv Club, co-founded the startup consultancy Pitch Poets with classmate Suraj Seghal, and emerged as an ardent voice for questioning capitalism on campus, drafting the Haas Doctrine on the Social Responsibility of Business.
Paul holds a BS in Computer Science from Indiana University and now works as a Senior Product Marketing Manager at NVIDIA, leading go-to-market for Enterprise Game Development. He lives in Berkeley with his wife Darby and their two dogs, Spanky and Oreo.
