Almog Goldstein is the Founding Executive Director of the UC Berkeley Open Innovation Labs at the Institute for Business Innovation, a program that connects corporations, startups, and researchers in structured open innovation engagements. He is a recognized practitioner and thought leader in corporate-startup collaboration and innovation ecosystem development.
Established in 2022 and supervised by Dr. Henry Chesbrough, the Father of Open Innovation, the Open Innovation Squad, which transitioned into the Open Innovation Labs in 2025, bridges academic theory and practical application by sourcing real-world challenges from leading brands and training cross-functional teams of UC Berkeley students to solve them.
