Martin Beitia currently leads Innovation, Design & Research at Iberia Airlines (part of IAG Group), where he shapes the airline’s open innovation agenda by connecting startups and corporate partners to deliver measurable business, operations, and customer impact. He co-founded All4Zero, the first cross-sectoral alliance in Spain accelerating industrial decarbonization, and Patio Campus, an innovation and sustainability hub in Madrid that bridges startups, corporates, and investors.
Over the past years, he has designed and scaled multiple open innovation vehicles, from venture client programs, accelerators, and pilot frameworks to corporate–startup co-creation models across the globe. His focus is on turning emerging technologies and collaborations into tangible outcomes, improving operations, enabling new digital products, and advancing sustainability in aviation and beyond.
His background combines scaling a global design and innovation firm, leading projects for multinational companies, and co-founding entrepreneurial ventures. He holds a degree in Entrepreneurial Leadership and Innovation, additional studies in Innovation and Sustainability, and remains active in international talent networks such as Celera, Nova, and MTA.
Martin enjoys blending design, business, and technology to launch ventures that move organizations and society forward, while building ecosystems of ecosystems: connecting industries, startups, and public–private partnerships to tackle systemic challenges where open innovation can have the highest impact.
