Alexandra Ciobotaru is the Head of Automation Innovation for Maersk based out of NYC Metropolitan Area, where she leads transformative initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience and safety through advanced technology integration.
In her role, Alexandra supports Maersk’s commitment to staying at the forefront of logistics innovation, delivering impactful solutions that benefit customers and colleagues alike. Previously, she served as External Innovation and Partnerships Manager at Maersk Growth, the venture arm of A.P. Moller-Maersk, where she collaborated with start-ups, managed portfolios, and cultivated a culture of innovation champions.
Before joining Maersk, Alexandra honed her expertise in the start-up ecosystem with roles such as Head of Product and Business Development Manager, gaining insights into both corporate and entrepreneurial environments. A passionate advocate for women in tech, Alexandra was nominated as STEM Champion in 2024 by the Nordic Women in Tech Awards.
Prior to relocating to the United States, she was recognized as one of Denmark’s Top 100 Talents by Berlingske, Denmark’s leading business publication, for her contributions to innovation and leadership.
Beyond her professional achievements, Alexandra is an avid traveler, sailor and salsa enthusiast.
She is also the founder of Femme Lead, a dynamic community and podcast dedicated to empowering women to pursue fulfilling careers.
