He brings extensive leadership experience across the life sciences sector, having previously served as CEO of Life Science District, a consulting and venture-building firm, and as General Manager of OpenZone and Zcube, the innovation arm of Zambon Pharma Group.
Fabrizio has also held executive roles as General Manager of Bioindustry Park Silvano Fumero, Vice President of the bioPmed innovation cluster, and Board Member at the University of Torino’s incubator and Ephoran-MIS.
Over the years, he has developed deep expertise in general management, innovation strategy, open innovation programs, startup and business plan evaluation, as well as in the design and implementation of novel business models and go-to-market strategies. He has led numerous business development initiatives and supported the growth of early-stage ventures in healthcare and biotech.
In parallel with his executive career, Fabrizio is an active contributor to academic education. He serves as a professor of Innovation Management at Bologna Business School, where he teaches in both university and MBA programs.
