Because most real estate employers determine their summer and full-time hiring needs in the spring, April is typically the busiest month for our graduate students’ real estate job searches. In 2020, the pandemic and shelter-in-place orders forced us to move from a traditional in person career fair to a series of individual virtual chats with employees. The program and format were so successful that we are thrilled to offer these virtual career chats for the third consecutive year.
To continue educating students about various real estate careers in general and specific opportunities in particular, the Accelerating Careers in Real Estate Program at Berkeley Haas and the Fisher Center for Real Estate & Urban Economics are partnering with BREAA (Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Association) and BREC (Berkeley Real Estate Club to provide career discussions during the month of April 2022.
These sessions will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm and will focus on a particular aspect of real estate (investments, development, affordable housing, etc.). The guest speakers will be UC Berkeley alums working in these real estate fields.
We hope you will join us for these informative and impactful sessions. They will provide valuable career-related content and highlight the strength and meaning of the UC Berkeley real estate community.
