Associate Director

Persis recently accepted the role of Associate Director at the Center for Responsible Business (CRB), building on her initial contributions as a Program Manager since 2022. In her new capacity, she continues to champion the CRB’s vision of using business as a catalyst for a more responsible, resilient, and sustainable society. Her leadership effectively fosters connections between students, businesses, and faculty, pushing the boundaries of sustainability practices and principles.

With a rich background in environmental sustainability and social equity, Persis has notably contributed to food justice, sustainable agriculture, and sustainable winegrowing. Her impactful work includes facilitating career opportunities for marginalized communities through the Culinary Job Training Program at DC Central Kitchen and advancing environmental policy and advocacy with the Wine Institute and the California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance.

Holding a Master’s degree in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and a B.A. in International Relations from San Francisco State University, Persis blends her academic insights with practical experience. As Associate Director, she is dedicated to inspiring future leaders in sustainable business, leveraging her expertise in policy, sustainability, and international relations to guide her work.
