
Persis Johnson
Program Manager
Persis spent has spent her career working in food justice, sustainable agriculture, and sustainable winegrowing. As a member of the Culinary Job Training Program at DC Central Kitchen, she connected marginalized communities with opportunities for careers in the culinary/food service industry. After moving back home to the Bay Area, Persis worked as the Environmental Affairs Coordinator for Wine Institute and California Sustainable Wine Growing Alliance, gaining first hand experience in public/private partnerships, environmental policy, and advocacy.
Persis has her Masters in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and her B.A. in International Relations from San Francisco State University.
