Breaking Bread Building Bridges
Breaking Bread, Building Bridges Dinners (B4 Dinners), initially started as “Dialogues over Dinner” in 2017 as a student-led initiative through the UC Berkeley Haas Race Inclusion Initiative (RII). B4 is a collaboration with The Consortium, the CRB, and UC Berkeley Haas where semesterly student-facilitated small group dinners are designed to foster deep, intentional dialogue around identity, equity, and belonging at Haas. Student facilitators receive ample training to create psychologically safe and inclusive spaces rooted in listening, humanity, and reflection where other student participants can share their experiences and perspectives openly.
Past dinner topics included:

- Spring 2025: Should DEI classes/training be mandatory (at UC Berkeley Haas)?
