Eva Zlotnicka
Founder, Inclusive Capital Partners
Ms. Zlotnicka is a Founder, Managing Partner, and the President of Inclusive Capital Partners, a San Francisco-based investment firm which partners with companies that enable solutions to address environmental and social problems. Just prior to founding Inclusive Capital Partners, she was a Founder and Managing Director of the ValueAct Spring Fund and Head of Stewardship at ValueAct Capital.
Previously, Ms. Zlotnicka spent more than 10 years on the sell side. Most recently, she was US lead Sustainability and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) equity research analyst at Morgan Stanley. Ms. Zlotnicka is a director of Unifi, Inc., Arcadia, and Enviva Inc.. She was previously a director of Hawaiian Electric Industries. Ms. Zlotnicka also serves as a member of the Investor Advisory Group for the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and is a member of the Advisory Board of the Institute for Corporate Governance and Finance at NYU Law. In her personal capacity, Ms. Zlotnicka co-founded Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE), a global professional community, and is a board member of the Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA) and Aircela. She has two B.S.c. degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, including one from the Wharton School, and an M.B.A and a Master of Environmental Science degree from Yale University.
John Goldstein
Managing Director, Head of the Sustainable Finance Group
John is head of the Sustainable Finance Group (SFG), which is responsible for working across Goldman Sachs to deepen the firm’s knowledge and grow its capabilities in relation to inclusive growth and climate transition. He serves as chair of the Sustainable Finance Group Steering Group. John joined Goldman Sachs Asset Management as a managing director in 2015 through the acquisition of Imprint Capital, which he co-founded in 2007, to help expand the firm’s Environmental, Social and Governance and impact investing capabilities.
Previously, John served as senior managing director of Medley Global Advisors. During that time, he co-founded and served as the executive director of the Medley Institute. Prior to that, John was a management consultant at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture).
John has served as an advisor or board member to a diverse set of organizations in the impact space including groups such as the US National Advisory Board of the G8 Social Impact Investing Task Force, the Global Impact Investing Network’s ImpactBase initiative, the Global Social Venture Competition, McKinsey’s working group on Social Impact Bonds, Global Giving, the Sustainable Food Lab, the UN Capital Development Fund, the International Interfaith Investment Group and a range of other organizations.
John graduated from Yale University with honors. He was awarded the Richter Fellowship and the Townsend Prize.
Colin le Duc
Founding Partner, Generation Investment Management
Colin le Duc is a Founding Partner of Generation Investment Management, a founding member of the Growth Equity strategy and a member of the Just Climate management committee. He is also Head of Generation’s San Francisco office. Previously, Colin worked for Sustainable Asset Management in Zurich, Arthur D. Little in London and Total in Paris.
Colin received a BSc in International Management and Modern Languages from the University of Bath in the UK. He has lived in nine countries across four continents. Colin serves on the boards of the non-profit organizations NatureBridge and Ocean Conservancy.
Matthew Slovik
Managing Director and Head of Global Sustainable Finance, Morgan Stanley
Matthew Slovik is a Managing Director and Global Head of Morgan Stanley’s Global Sustainable Finance group where he leads the firmwide sustainable finance and impact investing strategy. Matthew works across the Firm to drive innovation and develop client-focused financial products and solutions that integrate sustainability.
Matthew has spent his entire career at Morgan Stanley, where he began working as an analyst in the Firm’s Investment Banking Division. Immediately prior to leading the Global Sustainable Finance team, he worked in Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners (AIP), where he helped lead the build out of the private equity impact investing program. During his career at Morgan Stanley, Matthew has also worked in the Firm’s Global Capital Markets, Wealth Management and Firm Management divisions. He received a B.A. in Public Policy from Duke University and currently serves as a trustee for the Morgan Stanley Foundation and on the Partnership Fund for New York City’s Urban Resiliency Advisory Board.
