Berkeley Innovative Solutions Consulting Program
BIS Consulting program is run between the Center for Responsible Business and the Berkeley Energy and Resources Collaborative. BIS links company projects with teams of interdisciplinary graduate students from the UC Berkeley campus. This student-led program partners with companies of all sizes on energy and sustainability-related projects.
Strategic and Sustainable Business Solutions (Course)
The Strategic and Sustainable Business Solutions course, led by the Center for Responsible Business, explores the application of sustainability, corporate social responsibility, and creating shared value through team-based student consulting projects with industry clients. Representative companies from past semesters include: Patagonia, Microsoft, Adobe, Airbnb, Nike, Cisco, Levi Strauss & Co., and General Mills Natural & Organic.
Cleantech to Market (Course)
Clean Tech to Market (C2M) –the First Cleantech Accelerator–is a capstone course where UC Berkeley graduate students from a wide range of disciplines help innovators commercialize emerging clean technologies.
Impact Investing Practicum (Course)
The Impact Investing Practicum course, led by the Sustainable and Impact Finance initiative, pairs teams of MBA students with impact investing firms and organizations. Projects generally include market analysis or investment strategies for leading impact investing organizations.
