Prepare to lead, innovate, and affect change with the new Global Management Program. Through study at the Haas School of Business, across UC Berkeley, and abroad, you will earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in global management.
Program Overview
The selective Global Management Program blends rigorous business and general education courses with broad cultural understanding, preparing students to lead in financial services, communications, social sector solutions, foreign affairs, management consulting, and more.
The program is open to freshman students with an excellent academic record and demonstrated interest in global management.
Study in this four year program begins in the summer with orientation and courses at UC Berkeley and includes the Berkeley Global Edge experience in London as a mandatory component—completed in Fall of freshman year.

Summer | Berkeley
Your life as a Berkeley undergraduate begins with eight weeks of summer courses alongside other incoming Berkeley freshmen. While on campus, you will explore campus resources, connect with your peers, and prepare for your time abroad. When summer courses end, you will depart Berkeley for your Fall semester abroad.
Fall | London
Spend the Fall semester of your freshman year in London, one of the world’s most important financial, media, and cultural capitals. Through coursework in writing and research, art history, philosophy, politics, and more, you will grow your understanding of what makes culture and business thrive. The Accent London Study Center serves as the nexus for your studies and for University of California activities in the United Kingdom.
Spring through Completion | Berkeley
Take a mix of classes at the Haas School and across UC Berkeley, gaining global perspective, building quantitative strength, business knowledge, honing language and leadership skills.

Participation Requirements
To be eligible for the program, admitted students must:
- be 18 years old by August 9, 2020
- hold a valid U.S. or E.U. passport (valid through May 1, 2021)
- have satisfied the UC Entry Level Writing Requirement
How to Apply
The Global Management Program is open to freshman applicants only, and is ideally suited for students who have a strong interest in global management and cultural immersion.
When applying to UC Berkeley, go to the College of Letters & Science – Social Sciences and select “Global Management Program (Haas School of Business)”
After submitting your UC application, you will be asked to submit a supplemental essay about your interest in the Global Management Program. You may also be asked to interview with a Haas alumnus or faculty member.
