Describe the moment you got into Haas.

The minute I got in, I knew that I was coming here. One of the best feelings I’ve ever had was getting into the M.E.T program. At the time, in high school I actually had to start going to community college because I didn’t finish my P.E. requirements. So, I was in the middle of my workout when I got a text from my friend that said Berkeley was sending out some acceptances. I checked, saw the confetti and almost fell off the treadmill.

What are you interested in?

I knew right off the bat that I wanted a dual degree in engineering and business. The program made sense because the most startups come out of Berkeley. Right now, I am the VP of Admissions and Marketing. I am very passionate about marketing the M.E.T program and I love hearing about other people’s life stories and aspirations. I sit down with 2-3 prospective students a week and tell them about Berkeley, M.E.T, and my story. It really inspires me to be a role-model. Decisions are coming out very soon and this is exciting for me. I’m definitely interested in getting to know the next cohort.

What are you passionate about?

I like business because it’s a very versatile field. It’s a skill that you can apply to anything. You need business skills in order to communicate. My end goal is to be an entrepreneur because I love innovation. Innovation is so important, and I am always in problem-solver mode. So, I guess one of my passions is entrepreneurship.
