Amy Chan

Amy Chan is currently Chief Sustainability Officer at Synaptics, a semiconductor company focused on EdgeAI solutions, and a Lecturer at UC Berkeley Haas. With nearly two decades of leadership experience across technology, finance, and academia, she brings deep expertise in environmental impact, human rights, and global supply chains. Previously, she served as the inaugural Chief Sustainability Officer at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. Amy has also spent over a decade at Apple, where she spearheaded comprehensive supply chain sustainability programs that earned the company consecutive EPA Safer Choice Partner of the Year awards. Earlier in her career, she held finance roles at the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation and Credit Suisse investment banking division. Amy holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. from UC Berkeley Haas.
