About the AI Subcommittee

The AI Subcommittee at the Haas School of Business is dedicated to helping staff confidently and effectively navigate the rapidly evolving landscape of artificial intelligence. Our mission is to make AI practical, accessible, and valuable for the Haas community by connecting staff with the right tools, guidance, and learning resources available across campus.

We serve as a trusted resource for identifying, evaluating, and recommending AI tools that align with Haas’s values, security standards, and operational needs. By vetting emerging technologies and highlighting proven solutions, the subcommittee helps staff focus on tools that can meaningfully enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and spark innovation in their daily work.

Beyond tools, we prioritize learning. The subcommittee curates training materials, hosts informational sessions, and shares best practices to help staff build confidence in using AI responsibly and creatively. Our goal is not just adoption, but empowerment—enabling staff to understand what AI can do, how to use it well, and how to integrate it thoughtfully into their work.

By bridging technology, education, and real-world application, the AI Subcommittee supports Haas staff in leveraging AI as a practical partner in advancing operational excellence and innovative thinking across the school.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to equip the Haas staff community with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to harness artificial intelligence thoughtfully and effectively—unlocking new opportunities for productivity, innovation, and impact in the way we work.
