About
Chris Puscasiu has been a private and public equity investor for more than 25 years. He has been teaching at Haas since 2013.
Puscasiu runs Presidio Investors, a lower middle-market private equity fund. Prior to joining Presidio Investors, he was co-head of Direct Private Equity, overseeing a direct private equity portfolio of ~$20 billion Canadian dollars and leading the deployment of over CA$5 billion in private equity opportunities at Caisse de Depot et Placement du Quebec (“CDPQ”), Canada’s second-largest pension fund. Earlier in his career, Chris founded and ran Three Bridges Ventures, a seed venture capital firm and served as a Partner at EQT and Prides Capital. Before that he spent several years at Blum Capital Partners, AEA Investors, and Bain & Company after having started his career as a software engineer.
Puscasiu has taught across all MBA programs at Haas in the fields of entrepreneurship, venture capital, private equity, and M&A.
Chris earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated with honors. He also holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley.
