Janine Lee has been a lecturer in the Berkeley Haas Evening Weekend MBA program since 2014. As a Certified Executive Coach, Lee has also lectured at Berkeley  Executive Education and the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business MBA Program.

Lee has almost 20 years of experience in learning and development (L&D), diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB), organizational development, program management, and change management at Fortune 500 companies. Lee has worked across a variety of industries, including academia, technology, energy, nonprofit, and entrepreneurship sectors. As a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Lee has led large-scale, 100-person teams in continuous improvement and transformation efforts. She currently works at Google as the Global Head of Learning & Development, delivering learning experiences for 30k learners.

Lee received her MBA from Berkeley Haas and her EdD with an emphasis in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California. Her dissertation research focused on workplace belonging for women of color in technology. She has won dozens of leadership awards, including the Maybelline Empowerment through Education Award, which was featured in People magazine.
