About
Mark Coopersmith is a Senior Fellow and Lecturer at UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, where he teaches entrepreneurship, innovation, and change leadership to current and future leaders worldwide. An accomplished entrepreneur, Fortune 500 executive, and author, Mark has launched and led successful ventures ranging from Silicon Valley startups – such as WebOrder, now owned by Google – to global business divisions for companies like Sony. He is co-author of the acclaimed book “The Other ‘F’ Word: How Smart Leaders, Teams, and Entrepreneurs Put Failure to Work.” He has helped launch hundreds of new ventures through his teaching, programs, and work with accelerators, and he is recognized for bridging frameworks and theory with practical, real-world experience. He is an investor with numerous venture capital funds.
