Students enrolled in any of the three Berkeley MBA programs (Full-Time, Evening & Weekend, or Executive) are encouraged to consider a focus in finance. Finance is one of the general management fundamentals stressed in every MBA path, but it’s also a potential area of emphasis for your MBA curriculum. The introductory finance course is supplemented by recommended electives.

C&J White Fellowships in Finance
C&J White Fellowships are awarded to selected incoming full-time MBA students focused on careers in financial services. Each Fellowship includes a scholarship of up to $100,000. These fellowships also include matching with an alumni mentor in the field, and priority in finance electives.
Investment Banking, Investment Management & Private Equity, and Entrepreneurial Finance Fellowships
These three types of Fellowships include a $5,000 award for full-time MBA students pursuing careers in investment banking, investing roles, and entrepreneurial finance (including for example impact investing, VC, fintech or a finance role at a startup). The fellowship includes a mentor in the applicable field, and preference in finance electives. The award is disbursed in the spring of the first year. Students apply during fall of their first year in a competitive selection process.
