Real Estate at the Haas School of Business is an area of concentration within the MBA Program. Students in the Real Estate Program may take coursework in topics such as development, finance, law, and planning, and may participate in activities sponsored by the Berkeley Real Estate Club, the Accelerating Careers in Real Estate (ACRE), the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics, and local industry organizations.
The program prepares its graduates for a broad range of career paths in a variety of industry segments, including development, private equity, investment banking, government housing agencies, lending and portfolio or asset management, and across many different product types, including residential, office, retail, industrial, and hospitality.
With its rigorous and challenging curriculum and prestigious, award-winning faculty, the program combines a strong analytical focus with hands-on field experience. Students have access to leading industry guest speakers and professional faculty, and participate in real-world case studies, class projects, and competitions. In addition, through the Fisher Center and the ACRE program, students develop strong partnerships within the real estate community.
