About
Ingrid Gavshon teaches Leadership Communications and Authentic Leadership at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business and the Fung Institute for Engineering Leadership. She also serves on the faculty of UC Berkeley Executive Education, where she teaches in High Impact Leadership and Advanced Executive Presence, and co-leads the Seminar in International Business: South Africa (SIB). An experiential educator, Gavshon specializes in creating immersive pedagogy that helps students discover and develop their authentic leadership style. Through storytelling, coaching, and interactive learning, her courses integrate communication, empathy, and creative expression to build confident, purpose-driven leaders. Gavshon draws on her dual background as an executive coach and award-winning documentary filmmaker. She has produced and directed numerous social-issue documentaries, including a thirteen-part series on Nelson Mandela, and uses film as a medium to foster connection, empathy, and human understanding in leadership. In addition to her university teaching, Gavshon is CEO of Angel Coaching and Consulting, advising organizations and executives internationally on authentic leadership, communication, and presentation. She previously served as a partner with the Berkeley Executive Coaching Institute (BECI) and is an advisor to female founders at UC Berkeley SkyDeck.
