Seven Centers, One Haas

Haas houses seven specialized centers and institutes dedicated to sustainability and social impact‚ spanning energy, finance, food systems, real estate, and social sector leadership. Our infrastructure gives students unmatched pathways to find their specific areas of interest.

Ecosystem Edge

UC Berkeley and Haas sit at the epicenter where Silicon Valley’s innovation meets the Bay Area’s drive for social impact. As a global leader in climate research and AI ethics, Haas connects students to cross-campus collaborations—from engineering to public policy—that other business schools simply can’t match.

Dual Degree Power

Lead the green transition with our concurrent MBA/Master of Climate Solutions (MCS) degree. Designed for early-career professionals, this dual program pairs business leadership with the technical expertise needed to turn climate challenges into opportunities.

Faculty Trailblazers

Haas pioneered the study of Corporate Social Responsibility in the 1950s. Today, our faculty don’t just teach ethical leadership; they advise Fortune 500s, shape the sustainable investing industry, and shape public policy—from former Dean Laura Tyson’s cabinet leadership to Janet Yellen’s historic Treasury tenure.
