As an investor and business leader at Plug and Play HQ and an advisor at the UC Berkeley SkyDeck Accelerator, Tim brings a wealth of expertise, combining his executive experience in corporate investment and innovation with a deep understanding of the startup ecosystem. Recognized as an expert in cloud computing, Tim has contributed several patents in the field and serves as a consultant expert for the China Cloud Computing Industry Alliance.
Beyond his technical expertise, Tim is celebrated for his mentorship and advisory roles in innovation and entrepreneurship. His entrepreneurial spirit is further demonstrated through his founding partnership at Awesome Capital and his current role as a board member on the Investment Committee of Tong Ze Group.
During his tenure at Amazon AWS, Tim conducted pioneering experiments and implemented best practices in Open Innovation. He initiated and designed the Amazon AWS Joint Innovation Center (JIC) program—a unique and cost-effective platform designed to provide international startups with comprehensive resources and valuable experiences to drive global growth.
