BIBS connects scholars whose research on behavioral science seeks to understand how imperfectly rational people can make more rational decisions. BIBS affiliates are psychologists, economists, and fellow travelers from the study of management, business, and marketing. Their research might variously be described as behavioral economics, judgment and decision making, and behavioral policy. They seek to help people make wiser decisions for themselves and the world we share. This research includes principles of situational, organizational, and institutional design to nudge people toward making wiser decisions.
