Oliver E. Williamson Seminar
The Oliver E. Williamson Seminar on Institutional Analysis, named after our esteemed colleague who founded the seminar, features current research by faculty, from UCB and elsewhere, and by advanced doctoral students. The research investigates governance and its links with economic and political forces. Over the years, the seminar has contributed to pushing the frontier of knowledge on governance, and on the norms and institutions that lead to societal success or failure.
Open Innovation Seminar
The Open Innovation Seminar features current research from Haas Visiting Scholars, Postdocs and PhD students, who are investigating phenomena related to the management and processes of product, services, and business model innovation. While the seminar focuses particularly on open and collaborative innovation, it welcomes all research combining aspects from corporate innovation, entrepreneurship, new product development, and related fields.
