Abbott partners with Berkeley Haas to support aspiring students with a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
In June 2021, Berkeley Haas welcomed 300 fellows of the Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) program for a three-day event offering skill-building, peer learning and insights into the admission process.
As the host school for this annual event, Haas was proud to support MLT’s mission to help talented, aspiring students with a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion to raise their aspirations and help guide them through the process of successfully securing a place at business school.
As an event partner, Abbott hosted a mock class in Haas’ brand new virtual classroom, where prospective students were given the opportunity to learn first-hand how Abbott navigated a real-world business challenge. Employees from Abbott were able to offer a snapshot of professional life at the company and demonstrate the company’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. The seminar culminated in a virtual celebration with networking opportunities for both Abbott employees and aspiring students.
