The EAP Group
The EAP group is, according to a recent external review, “one of the best in the world”. EAP faculty share a common vision and enthusiasm. They value teaching, research, and service. EAP faculty include internationally-renowned scholars and leaders in applied microeconomics and in global macroeconomics. The group has unparalleled expertise and experience in areas where public policies greatly affect businesses: strategy, antitrust, innovation, telecommunications, energy, airlines, health, banking, human resources, and international trade.
Teaching
The EAP group is dedicated to teaching students. The EAP group has a long track record of winning teaching awards at Haas. EAP teaches core classes in Business Decisionmaking, Data and Decisions, Macroeconomics in the Global Economy, and Strategy. EAP teaches electives on Competitive Corporate Strategy; Energy and the Environment; Strategy, Structure and Incentives; International Finance; Network Strategy; and Game Theory. EAP courses help students form an integrated perspective of business strategy and decisions, business organization and incentives, and market positioning.
Citizenship
EAP group faculty members have invested themselves in Haas. EAP faculty have a long record of serving Haas and the Berkeley campus in leadership positions.
