This in-person session on the Haas Campus will:
– Offer frameworks to help us name what we are experiencing when conversations and climates begin to (or are already) polarized;
– Examine what gets in the way of collaboration and connection, including insights from leading research on dehumanization and stereotyping (Juliana Schroeder) and what contributes to overconfidence in our own beliefs (Don A Moore);
– Provide tangible skills for getting unstuck when conversations get heated, cyclical, or ideologically entrenched.
