Julia Hwang
ASSISTANT DEAN OF MBA PROGRAMS
Julia leads the strategic direction of curriculum delivery and the overall student experience across all three Haas MBA Programs: EMBA, EWMBA and FTMBA.
Lucas Mollenbrink
INTERIM EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Lucas oversees both Academics and the Student Life & Leadership Development team. He is focused on strengthening the FTMBA student experience.

DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC INITIATIVES
Kate partners on the Program Office leadership development curriculum, including applied innovation courses and opportunities to develop leadership skills outside the classroom.

Thao Valdez
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ACADEMICS
Thao serves as the academic advisor to students with last names N-Z, helping them navigate their class experience. She also leads the international exchange program and is the program’s GNAM liaison. Her other special project areas include bidding, class planning, and orientation.
Jody O’Connor
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ACADEMICS
Jody serves as the academic advisor to students with last names A-M, helping them navigate their class experience. Her special project areas include core class registration, bidding, certificate programs and the independent study process.
Anthony Jackson
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ACADEMICS
Anthony supports the day-to-day operations of the Academic program. He serves as a front-line advisor on general student, faculty, and staff questions in addition to managing the non-MBA request process and Student-Initiated.

Sumayyah Alsabri
DIRECTOR OF STUDENT LIFE & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Sumayyah oversees the Student Life team with a focus on enhancing the overall MBA student experience and supporting leadership development. She develops strategic initiatives, formulates policies, and oversees programming from orientation through commencement. She serves as the key advisor and thought partner to the MBA Association and student leaders. She is passionate about cultivating partnerships and creating a diverse and inclusive Haas community.
Joy Bianchi
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF STUDENT LIFE & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Joy leads community building, wellness, and leadership development. She is the liaison to all registered student organizations and serves as the point of contact with the LEAD Center. She also works directly with club leaders on the sponsorship guide. Her goal is to promote and create an environment of community and wellness, serving as a thought leader and facilitator for graduate-level professional development.

PROGRAM COORDINATOR OF STUDENT LIFE & LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Mona supports the Student Life team through office management and administration, procurement, and event planning. Mona supports students with locker assignments, prayer/meditation room access, student organization grants, CampusGroups administration, SPA access, and much more.
