Mental Health in the Workplace Panel Event

DAR
May
03

May 3, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

In honor of  Mental Health Awareness Month, the Berkeley Haas Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) team, in partnership with the Center for Equity, Gender, and Leadership (EGAL), is hosting a virtual panel discussion featuring members of the Berkeley community and industry guests. Panelists from The Stability Network will discuss challenges, wins, and lessons learned from advocating for your authentic self and ways to thrive as a contributor in the workplace while managing a mental health condition.

This event seeks to amplify the importance of psychological safety, and to increase our collective understanding of how we can improve workplace inclusion and belonging. We hope that the learnings from this panel will support the Haas community to destigmatize mental health conditions and develop a more comprehensive inclusive leadership approach.

Join us on May 3rd, 2-3pm Pacific. The panelists include:

  • Stephen Hinshaw, PhD Professor of Psychology at UC Berkeley and UCSF, and Vice Chair for Child and Adolescent Psychology at UCSF

  • Michelle Tenzyk, MBA CEO and Founder East Tenth Group

  • Christina Sparrock, CPA, CGMA, Finance Consultant, Peak Fiscal Management and Advisory Board Member for NYC Office of the Mayor

  • Margaret Stutt, Associate Director of Donor Stewardship, Berkeley Haas, Board Member for The Stability Network

We look forward to this brave space and hope you will join us. Please register here to receive a zoom link for the event.
