Aida Zozaya Brown
Civil Society and Leadership Initiative, 2024-2026
Aida is a Program Research Analyst for the Civil Society and Leadership initiative at the Packard Foundation. In this role, she supports strategy implementation and adaptation, grantmaking, and evaluation and learning. Through her work, she contributes to strengthening civil society organizations, leaders, and infrastructure, as well as to foster a safe and thriving civic space.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Aida worked extensively with CSOs and grassroots organizations in Mexico. Her professional experience has focused on enhancing civil society’s capacities and advocacy processes, supporting community-based development, and building strategic alliances while fostering intersectoral collaboration. Aida holds a master’s degree in Social Development Practice from University College London (UCL) and a bachelor’s degree in Social Anthropology from the Autonomous University of Yucatan (UADY).
