Join us in-person on Thursday, October 5 from 5-7 PM at Haas’s Spieker Forum for a fun and inspiring event that celebrates and builds Equity Fluent Leadership. The event will feature live presentations and performances on the main stage, including:

Porsche Veu aka The Poetic Activist is a bold & fiery artist, speaker, educator and author from Oakland, Ca. She has years of experience in spoken word, motivational speaking, and workshop facilitation, though she has been a creator and artist since childhood. Porsche uses her art to fight social injustice, empower women, youth, & the Black community, and advocate for mental & emotional health. Her first vulnerable stage poem “Caesar: A Poem About Suicide”, pushed her to be unapologetically vulnerable and encourage others to erase shame & tell their own stories.
