In order to cater to the distinct interests of our academic and corporate attendees, the first two days — January 11th and 12th — were geared towards an academic audience. This part of the conference brought together researchers across the domains of sociology, social psychology, economics, and strategy to share their latest research and to develop a more integrated perspective on how to advance the field of culture research.
The last two days — January 13th and 14th — focused on a corporate audience. Under the direction of the Berkeley Culture Center Corporate Advisory Board, the corporate conference was guided by the theme Building a Resilient and Adaptable Culture During Uncertain Times, followed by the following two sub-themes:
- January 13th, 2021 – Addressing Systemic Racism and Fostering Inclusion Through Organizational Culture
- January 14th, 2021 – Building Organizational Culture for the Changing Nature of Work
