Targeting High-Potential Candidates

If you have specific positions available in your company at any time during the year, we invite you to post job descriptions at no cost on 12Twenty for viewing by the Berkeley Haas community. MBA students and alumni are seeking immediate hire, post-graduate positions, summer internships, part-time jobs, and project work.

Your relationship manager can assist you in targeting students interested in pursuing a career with your company by publicizing your available positions, explaining your firm’s application process to students, and providing you with the options for collecting resumes and cover letters from interested students.

Our Candidate Search function in 12Twenty is a proactive approach for seeking potential candidates by setting and refining filters that fit the role you are recruiting for. Similar to resume books, you are able to download the resumes of those students who best match your open role. The Candidate Search function becomes available for full-time and internship seeking classes at specific times in the fall semester. Reference our Key Dates for Recruiting MBAs section for specific dates when each becomes available.

Berkeley MBA Summer 2021 Internship Stimulus Fund

Goal of Fund:  To help continuing MBA students secure paid summer internships by offering a $2500 stipend to students to help cover basic needs and incentivize companies to hire Berkeley MBAs for summer projects and internships.

How it Works:

  • Students can apply for a stipend once they have a written job offer for a paid summer internship.
  • Companies must abide by all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including minimum wage laws.
  • The summer project/internship must be full-time for 8+ weeks and be focused on MBA-level work.
  • If the internship offer is with a start-up, the company must have >5 employees and seed, Series A, or later institutional funding.
  • A stipend will be conditionally awarded to MBA students who qualify on a rolling basis until funds are fully utilized.  The stipend will be paid once the employer and student confirm that the internship has started.
