Betsy Ream
Senior Director of Employer Relations
Betsy leads our team of industry relationship managers. With significant experience as an industry relationship manager herself, she loves helping companies both large and small, Bay Area local and global, build strategic partnerships with employers. She enjoys helping a company craft a Haas-specific recruiting strategy to connect with just the right group of students for their roles and cultural fit.

Bill Rindfuss
Financial Services
Bill is the relationship manager for financial services recruiting. He is also a member of the finance faculty, and has a broader role in developing the academic finance program at Berkeley Haas, representing it from admissions through alumni relations. Prior to Haas, Bill worked at JPMorgan and predecessors in New York and then San Francisco for 20 years, with experience in leveraged finance and industry coverage groups and as head of credit for the West Coast.

Doug Massa
Technology & Fintech
Prior to coming to Haas, Doug spent 15+ years doing business development in the technology industry. His time in the corporate world has helped him realize the importance of networking and building long-term and meaningful relationships. He enjoys collaborating with companies to maximize their recruiting efforts as well as helping students get started on their career path. In addition to being a relationship manager, Doug also acts as the Career Management Group (CMG) Business Development Manager focusing on expanding the number of companies in the CMG portfolio.

Kelly Conner
Technology & Media/Entertainment
Kelly serves as the relationship manager for tech, media & entertainment and facilitates connections between Haas MBA populations and employers. She leverages industry recruiting experience across product and tech from her time working in e-commerce. She also brings six years of MBA career services experience from her time at the Darden School of Business as a relationship manager where she also contributed to business development and DEI initiatives. Her priority at Haas is to build successful relationships with employers in order to maximize their recruiting efforts as well as to guide students throughout the recruiting process.

Chris Gavin
Consulting
Chris serves both MBA students and employers in the consulting industry at Haas. His career has spanned higher education at three UC campuses advising, educating, and developing relationships with employers and delivering career workshops to graduate and undergraduate students. He currently provides in depth industry knowledge and recruiting strategies for MBAs at Haas.

Abigail Franklin
Real Estate
Abby worked for thirteen years in investment banking in both New York and San Francisco. She spent most of her career at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs focusing on tax-exempt bonds, mergers and acquisitions, and derivative products in the healthcare industry.
She started working at Haas in the Career Management Group in 2011 serving as a career advisor to students interested in pursuing professions in investment banking. In 2013, she expanded her role to include managing the Accelerating Careers in Real Estate (ACRE) program where she assists students with strategizing about, preparing for, and finding jobs in the real estate sector. Specifically, she helps students with their resumes, cover letters, interview prep, networking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting. She also assists students navigate real estate coursework selection, case competitions, events with the Fisher Center, and fellowships.

Deepak Gupta

Gina Garcia
CPG/Retail, Healthcare & Nonprofits
Gina has been part of the MBA Career Management Group at the Haas School of Business since February 2023. She is also the Chair for the Cal Women’s Network (CWN), focusing on empowering women professionally. Gina supports students through their leadership journey concentrating on CPG/Retail, Healthcare & Nonprofits. She is an innovative, mission-driven leader and people connector with a history of building lasting relationships. With an entrepreneurial spirit, Gina remains dedicated to growing the MBA employer portfolio with opportunities that are purposeful and inclusive to our student populations.

Kat Baird
Energy, Climate Tech & Transportation
With 17 years of experience in environmental and social impact, Kat advises students interested in energy, climate tech and transportation. Prior to Haas, Kat worked across business and nonprofits to advocate for sustainability and human rights in the US and internationally. At Haas, Kat also manages the MBA/Masters of Climate Solutions dual degree and the Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Business. Her passion is connecting students with careers and opportunities that align with their values and have a big impact on the world.

Tracy Machle
Employer Relations Project Manager & EdTech
Tracy serves on both the Employer Relations Operations and Relationship Management teams. She leads the planning and execution of employer events, job postings, and on-campus interviews for MBA students. In addition to her operations work, Tracy is the relationship manager for the EdTech industry, partnering with employers and alumni to support students interested in this dynamic field. She is passionate about building strong connections and creating meaningful engagement opportunities between employers and the Haas community.
