Director of Employer Relations
Betsy leads our team of industry relationship managers. With significant experience as an industry relationship manager herself, she loves helping companies both large and small, Bay Area local and global, build strategic partnerships with employers. She enjoys helping a company craft a Haas-specific recruiting strategy to connect with just the right group of students for their roles and cultural fit.
Bill is the relationship manager for financial services recruiting. He is also a member of the finance faculty, and has a broader role in developing the academic finance program at Berkeley Haas, representing it from admissions through alumni relations. Prior to Haas, Bill worked at JPMorgan and predecessors in New York and then San Francisco for 20 years, with experience in leveraged finance and industry coverage groups and as head of credit for the West Coast.
Technology & Media/Entertainment
Combining global experience in the technology industry, recent roles with a university employer relations/career center team, and passion, Roland helps execute the career search plans of students and alumni while developing strong and deep company relations with Berkeley Haas.
In her time at Berkeley Haas, Christina has helped hundreds of students build and navigate social impact, sustainability, and public sector job search and placement strategies. When she’s not advising students, she strategizes about Haas’ “impact” career curriculum and fosters collaborative relationships with companies, non-profits, alumni, and peers at other academic institutions.
Technology, Fintech, & E-Commerce
Prior to coming to Haas, Doug spent 15+ years doing business development in the technology industry. His time in the corporate world has helped him realize the importance of networking and building long-term and meaningful relationships. He enjoys collaborating with companies to maximize their recruiting efforts as well as helping students get started on their career path. In addition to being a relationship manager, Doug also acts as the Career Management Group (CMG) Business Development Manager focusing on expanding the number of companies in the CMG portfolio.
Consulting & Healthcare
Chris serves both MBA students and employers in the Consulting, Healthcare, and Design Strategy industries at Haas. His career has spanned higher education at three UC campuses advising, educating, and developing relationships with employers and delivering career workshops to graduate and undergraduate students. He currently provides in depth industry knowledge and recruiting strategies for MBAs at Haas.
Abby worked for thirteen years in investment banking in both New York and San Francisco. She spent most of her career at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs focusing on tax-exempt bonds, mergers and acquisitions, and derivative products in the healthcare industry.
She started working at Haas in the Career Management Group in 2011 serving as a career advisor to students interested in pursuing professions in investment banking. In 2013, she expanded her role to include managing the Accelerating Careers in Real Estate (ACRE) program where she assists students with strategizing about, preparing for, and finding jobs in the real estate sector. Specifically, she helps students with their resumes, cover letters, interview prep, networking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting. She also assists students navigate real estate coursework selection, case competitions, events with the Fisher Center, and fellowships.
Energy/Cleantech, Mobility & Transportation, CPG/Retail
Gina joined Haas in February 2023 and is focused on supporting the MBA student population through their leadership journey. She is a mission-driven leader and people connector with a history of building partnerships during her long-standing career in talent acquisition and recruiting. Gina is also a DEI champion with an entrepreneurial spirit determined to grow the employer pipeline with opportunities that are purposeful and inclusive.
Employer Relations Project Manager
Tracy assists the Relationship Management team plan and organize employer presentations, networking events and interviews. She also manages MBA job postings. She values maximizing connections between employers and students, and strives to ensure all opportunities for these relationships are met.
