David Henry F. Dixon

Racial Justice, 2024-2027

David Henry F. Dixon (he/they) is a Program Research Analyst within the Racial Justice Initiative at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. In his role, he supports the strategic planning and grant-making rollout of the Foundation’s $100M Justice and Equity Fund. He contributes to the development of racial justice grant-making strategies aimed at power-building and leadership development in the US South through funding and organizational research and analysis. David joins the Packard Foundation with over a decade of organizing experience centered at the intersection of racial and economic justice.
David earned a dual Bachelor of Arts in History and Africana Studies with a Minor in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He recently earned his Master of Public Affairs from UC Berkeley where his research explored the intersection of reparations and philanthropy.
