Abortion is banned or heavily restricted in states across the country, while laws in various other states are paving the way to similar restrictions. Millions of women and birthing people are now – or soon to be – without access to abortion and autonomy over their body, impacts that will disproportionately influence low-income communities, women of color, and people who are trans and non-binary. Many business leaders have taken a stand expressing support and instituting efforts to preserve abortion access for workers. Still, more is needed.
