Undergraduate Case Competitions

Internal Case Competitions External Case Competitions
Berkeley students are able to participate in two annual competitions which are held at
Haas and sponsored by the Haas Undergraduate Program.
Selected teams of Haas students compete in several external competitions held at other universities. Examples include:
  • Investment Banking Case Competition, sponsored by Goldman Sachs
  • The HBSA Novice Case Competition
  • University of Auckland, New Zealand
  • National University of Singapore
  • Maastricht University, the Netherlands
  • Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
  • Thammasat University, Thailand
  • University of Southern California
  • McGill University, Canada
  • Belgrade University, Serbia
  • University of British Columbia, Canada

Thanks to the generous sponsorship of the Schlinger Family Foundation, students have the opportunity to compete in internal and external case competitions. The internal competitions are made possible by the invaluable participation of former Haas and UC Berkeley undergraduates who now work at the sponsoring companies. These loyal alums support their alma matter by arranging for cases each year and participating in the judging.
