Accounting and Finance Women’s Alliance (AFWA) is an organization providing educational and empowering resources for women in accounting and finance career paths. AICPA Legacy Scholarship Opportunities
The AICPA (American Institute of CPAs) Legacy Scholars program is designed to make stellar students better equipped to conquer the working world. How? By providing them with real-world experience and helping them develop the skills employers are looking for. Skills that aren’t so easily learned in the classroom, like communication, leadership and networking skills. They also get access to the nation’s largest community of CPAs for networking. CalCPA Scholarships
The California Society of Certified Public Accountants – East Bay Chapter is accepting applications for scholarships. Scholarship amounts will range from $3,000-$6,000. Learn more and apply here.
All undergraduate students can join CalCPA for FREE and utilize specific member resources geared toward helping launch a CPA career. Students in post-graduate studies can also join for free under our Candidate category.

Cerf Scholarship
This is a new scholarship to honor Professor Alan Cerf who was a legendary faculty member and taught thousands of students. To learn more about him, click here. The award amount of $1,000 is given to the recipient who is recognized at our annual Student Recognition Lunch in January. Since Tax was Prof. Cerf’s expertise, the scholarship is awarded to a student who is committed to accounting and has an interest in Tax.
