Student Testimonials

Angela Siboro

Berkeley Board Fellow 2025-2026

One of the highlights of my first-year MBA has been the privilege of serving as a Berkeley Board Fellow. Over the course of the program, we got to know the organization deeply and understand the real challenges their board is navigating. From there, we designed a customized board composition matrix assessment and deployed it through an AI chatbot survey to the full board.

Andrew Menor

I’m so grateful to have deepened my understanding of nonprofit governance and strategic decision-making, and contributed to an organization making such a meaningful difference in the Bay Area.

Zuren Hsueh

Berkeley Board Fellow 2019-2020

BBF (Berkeley Board Fellows) was an incredible opportunity to sit on a nonprofit board and see how decisions are made at a high level. It was fascinating to be in the room where the board responded to major events, whether it was key personnel changes or the early stages of COVID-19. In addition, we were able to become more integrated with our local community and drive a strategic and impactful project.
