Tom Tripp
Executive Director
Tom is the Executive Director of Haas Digital and a 15-year veteran of UC Berkeley Haas. Drawing on a background in broadcasting and AV infrastructure design, Tom oversees the strategy for the school’s comprehensive learning ecosystem—spanning online course production, virtual classrooms, the learning management system, and faculty support.
Currently, Tom is focused on questioning the status quo of teaching in the age of AI. By championing digital accessibility and the ethical use of emerging tools, he works to ensure that technology amplifies pedagogy—empowering faculty to teach with confidence and preparing students for the future.
Amy Ho
Learning Experience Design Lead
Amy is excited about leveraging technology to design impactful learning experiences for students both inside and outside of the classroom. At Haas, her core focus is on working with students, faculty, and staff to extend the reach of a Haas education through programs like the Flex MBA. She holds a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA and an M.A. in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Aria Priest
Production Lead
Aria helps our faculty and clients through their journey of building their content from script to screen. She has over twenty years of production experience in a range of changing environments as well as roles, from television to radio to movies to educational media. Her favorite part of her work life is when she gets to spend time in the studio, and she really enjoys working with all of the Haas faculty and staff!
Sharon Guo
Senior Learning Experience Designer
Sharon, a strong believer in the power of educational technology and instructional design, develops effective and engaging learning experiences to help learners achieve learning goals. Prior to Haas, Sharon was an Instructional Designer at New York Law School, delivering institution-wide learning solutions and advising faculty on how to transition traditional legal education to online and blended formats. Sharon earned her B.S. in Social Studies Education with a minor in Mathematics from Boston University and M.A. in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Dave Henderson
Learning Experience Designer
You will always find Dave Henderson thinking of how to combine the community and integrity of the classroom experience with the most useful online tools. Before returning to the Bay Area where he grew up, Dave worked at USC’s Rossier School of Education, helping to design online courses for the next generation of urban education leaders. He has a PhD in history with a specialty in Modern Spain. His education brought him across the UC system: he’s been a Banana Slug, Anteater, and Triton.
Galen Hans
Post Production Specialist
Galen brings his passion for video editing and motion design to the Haas Digital team, where he is responsible for the post-production of video content recorded with faculty and clients. When he isn’t editing videos, he enjoys helping the team film in the studio. Prior to joining Haas Digital, Galen earned his B.A. in Film and Digital Media from UC Santa Cruz and went on to work in media production. He is excited to continue with the UC system working at Berkeley.

Nicholas is passionate about creativity, collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. He enjoys making music, creating content, and traveling, as each brings fresh perspectives and fuels his creativity both in and out of work. Whether he’s working on a project or exploring a new place, he’s always looking for ways to connect ideas and inspire others.
Sandra Rogers
Instructional Technologist
Sandra brings her passion for accessibility and inclusion to support faculty course design and student learning. She previously worked for Berkeley’s Center for Teaching and Learning, where she co-designed fully online summer courses and provided training. Sandra is a futurist and participates in future thinking activities with a cohort in Research, Teaching, and Learning. She also co-led an internal AI Community of Practice for RTL in conjunction with the Library. She earned her MAT at the University of Alabama and her PhD in instructional design at the University of South Alabama.
Tomas Luque
Student Assistant
Tomas is an undergraduate student in UC Berkeley’s Management, Entrepreneurship, & Technology (M.E.T.) Program, pursuing a double major in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research and Business Administration. A tech enthusiast with a keen interest in leveraging innovative solutions, Tomas is passionate about enhancing learning experiences through emerging technology. At Haas Digital, he supports faculty, students, and staff in creating dynamic and engaging educational environments, contributing to projects that shape the future of classroom technology and media production at Haas.
Edwin Alvarado
Student Assistant
Edwin is an undergraduate in the college of Letters and Science, where he is majoring in Film Studies. At Haas Digital, he brings his passion for video editing/storytelling and helps maintain the Virtual Classroom environment. Additionally, Edwin loves weightlifting and cooking!
Fiona Tieche
Student Assistant
Fiona is currently a student in the College of Letters & Sciences, studying Film & Media. She brings her long-time passion for film to Haas Digital, supporting the team in their production efforts. Other than film, Fiona loves music, reading, photography, and being outdoors.
Alyssa Park
Student Assistant
Alyssa is an undergraduate student in the College of Letters and Sciences and is currently majoring in Theater Performance Studies. At Haas Digital, she brings in her passion for video/filmmaking and enjoys supporting the team. In her free time, she loves making crafts, listening to music, and watching TV shows.

Lois is an undergraduate student in the College of Letters & Sciences, currently studying Film & Media. At Haas Digital, she brings her passion for film and creating. Lois also brings her curiosity and desire to learn new skills and support the team. Additionally, she loves music and singing!
