Executive Director, Haas Digital

Tom Tripp is busy every day guiding our way through a myriad of possible edtech futures to find what works best for Berkeley Haas students and faculty. Tom has been with Berkeley Haas for the past ten years, leading initiatives such as our Virtual Classrooms, Cheit Hall Classroom Technology Refresh, automated lecture capture, and the design and implementation of Chou Hall’s award-winning classroom technology.

Amy Ho

Learning Experience Design Lead

Amy is excited about leveraging technology to design better learning experiences for learners both inside and outside of the classroom. Before joining Haas, she worked with the Education team at Girls Who Code, creating resources for their free after-school programs and consulting on their project-based curriculum. She holds a B.A. in Business Economics from UCLA and an M.A. in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Aria Priest

Instructional Media Designer

Aria helps our faculty and clients through their journey of building their content from script to screen. She has over fifteen years of production experience in a range of changing environments as well as roles, from television to radio to movies to educational media. Her favorite part of her work life is when she gets to spend time in the studio, and she really enjoys working with all of the Haas faculty and staff!

Bob Bazydlo

Senior Audio-Visual Technology Consultant

Bob, an AVIXA-certified technology specialist, has been planning, integrating and maintaining audio-visual systems at Berkeley Haas (mostly) since 2004. Since joining Haas Digital, his role has grown to encompass remote teaching and learning technologies. Bob’s goal is client success, and his superpower is problem solving.

Prior to working at Cal, Bob earned his B.S. in Video Production from Fitchburg State University. He worked twelve years as a video engineer and television production instructor for non-profit cable stations. His experience also includes three years as a courtroom evidence display technician and consultant, where he realized his life-long dream of working with lawyers and managing sleep deprivation.

Keeley Takimoto

Senior Experiential Learning Designer

Keeley is passionate about working with faculty on accessible, inclusive, and cutting-edge learning experiences to teach both quantitative and “soft” skills. She is delighted to continue as a Cal Bear after graduating from UC Berkeley in 2018 with a cognitive science degree and working for the Division of Computing, Data Science, and Society on interdisciplinary, data-driven curriculum development. Prior to Berkeley, she honed her instructional design skills over three years as a Staff Training Specialist at Planned Parenthood Northern California.

Sharon Guo

Learning Experience Designer

Sharon, a strong believer in the power of educational technology and instructional design, develops effective and engaging learning experiences to help learners achieve learning goals. Prior to Haas, Sharon was an Instructional Designer at New York Law School, delivering institution-wide learning solutions and advising faculty on how to transition traditional legal education to online and blended formats. Sharon earned her B.S. in Social Studies Education with a minor in Mathematics from Boston University and M.A. in Instructional Technology and Media from Teachers College, Columbia University.

Hamza Taha

Learning Technologies Support Consultant

Hamza lives in the intersection of technology, multimedia and training. His background includes multimedia production, course content creation and delivery, as well as software development. He is excited to work with faculty and students to strive for the most engaging and effective learning experiences.

Hamza earned his B.S. in Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University. Outside of work, Hamza is a big fan of music and an avid concert-goer!

Galen Hans

Post Production Specialist

Galen brings his passion for video editing and motion design to the Haas Digital team, where he is responsible for the post-production of video content recorded with faculty and clients. When he isn’t editing videos, he enjoys helping the team film in the studio. Prior to joining Haas Digital, Galen earned his B.A. in Film and Digital Media from UC Santa Cruz and went on to work in media production. He is excited to continue with the UC system working at Berkeley.

Dave Henderson

Dave Henderson

Learning Experience Designer

You will always find Dave Henderson thinking of how to combine the community and integrity of the classroom experience with the most useful online tools. Before returning to the Bay Area where he grew up, Dave worked at USC’s Rossier School of Education, helping to design online courses for the next generation of urban education leaders. He has a PhD in history with a specialty in Modern Spain. His education brought him across the UC system: he’s been a Banana Slug, Anteater, and Triton.

Tyler is currently a student in the College of Letters & Sciences looking to double major in Film Studies and Cognitive Science. Outside of film, Tyler plays a lot of volleyball, skateboards, and writes in his free time.

Mikayla is a current student at UC Berkeley, working towards getting her B.A. in Film & Media Studies. Before coming to Berkeley, she studied filmmaking at an arts high school where she developed a love for storytelling and production. Outside of film, Mikayla likes to read, travel, and learn new things.

Joshua is a student at Berkeley completing a B.A. in Economics and minoring in Data Science. As a curious learner himself, Joshua is motivated to improve business education systems, leveraging the power of visual design and technology. When he’s not working, you can find him reading a good book or fiddling on the keyboard.
