Dear Friends,

On behalf of all of us at the Berkeley Haas Center for Responsible Business (opens in a new tab) (CRB), I wish you a peaceful and joyous holiday season.

As I reflect upon this past year, two things provide me with great optimism:  1) my family and 2) our wonderful students here at Berkeley Haas.  The strong minds and caring hearts of our students provides me with such incredible hope and we work hard to put the students at the center of everything we do at the CRB. This includes our Peterson Speaker Series (opens in a new tab), Patagonia Case Competition (opens in a new tab), Berkeley Sustainable Business & Investment Forum (opens in a new tab), Microsoft Conference on Business, Technology, & Human Rights (opens in a new tab), Berkeley Haas Case Studies (opens in a new tab), our prestigious Moskowitz (opens in a new tab) and Investment for Impact (opens in a new tab) research prizes, and some dozen courses (opens in a new tab) we oversee among a number of activities for which the CRB is home.  Please visit redefiningbusiness.org (opens in a new tab) to review more details regarding our many offerings.

As you consider your end of the year giving, please consider the CRB.  We are an entirely self-financed center that does not draw upon our students’ hard earned tuition dollars (nor should we!).  We need your support now more than ever to continue to do what we do.  To make a tax-deductible contribution, please visit here (opens in a new tab).  Thank you.

My very best wishes,

Robert Strand
