Graduate Student Opportunities
The CRB Student Advisory Board (SAB) is comprised of six to eight representatives from each of the classes of Haas FT MBA students, other MBA programs, Haas undergraduates, and students from other Master’s programs (for a total of 16-18 students). First-year representatives are asked to serve a minimum of a one-year term. The SAB works with the Center and fellow students to advise on and help design and implement program structure, content, marketing, and outreach. SAB members will contribute their perspectives to the CRB’s “Redefining Business” blog and may play a strong role in any of the following activities: positioning the CRB to its core stakeholders, provide insight into the infusion of content / sustainability into CRB electives or the core curriculum at Haas, plan and staff CRB events, and/or guide the CRB’s strategic planning process.
Eligibility: First Year MBA students, other Masters Degree students, Haas Undergraduate. You must attend an event where you will learn more about the CRB or speak directly with a current SAB member or CRB Staff.

This GSR position will support the day to day operations of the Nordic Center at UC Berkeley, which is jointly based at the Institute for European Studies and the Berkeley Haas Center for Responsible Business (CRB). The Nordic Center GSR is an integral part of the Nordic Center team, meeting weekly with Center leadership, independently driving events and activities, and overseeing ongoing organizational needs. This GSR position is central in executing the operations and activities of the Nordic Center. In particular, supporting event and program management, marketing and communications, and strategy development. The GSR is also an important liaison between the Nordic Center and the UC Berkeley student body. Center leadership will look to the GSR to weigh in on the strategic development of new opportunities and activities aimed at student career and experiential learning opportunities.
Eligibility: Any current graduate student at UC Berkeley
Type of Position: Paid Graduate Student Researcher role
Timing and Hours: This will be a GSR Step 8 position, fully remote and flexible schedule, at 30 hours per week. We are open to negotiating the dates of employment, and the hours per week, based on the selected candidate’s needs.

Undergraduate Student Opportunities
The Undergraduate Student Assistants will provide administrative support, logistical, and creative support to the CRB staff. Projects include such tasks managing key contacts and other data in Salesforce, assisting with accounting/supply chain management, creating blog posts or other multimedia content, and working on-the-ground at CRB-programmed events such as speaker series and conferences. A willingness to take initiative and think creatively alongside the team are encouraged.
Eligibility: Any current undergraduate student at UC Berkeley
Type of Position: Paid Undergraduate Student Assistant role; $20.00/hour
Timing and Hours: October 2023 – May 2024, 3-8 hours/week (Ideally, we would like students who are interested in continuing working some through the summer and into the next school year if both sides are in agreement and you are not graduating.)
