Advanced Placement (AP)

AP Exam Subject Score and Prerequisite Satisfaction
Macroeconomics Score of 4 or 5 satisfies the macroeconomics prerequisite.

Note: Students must earn a 4 or 5 on both the macroeconomics and microeconomics exams in order to fulfill the economics prerequisite.

Microeconomics Score of 4 or 5 satisfies the microeconomics prerequisite.

Note: Students must earn a 4 or 5 on both the macroeconomics and microeconomics exams in order to fulfill the economics prerequisite.

English Composition & Literature Score of 4 satisfies the first half of the Reading & Composition (R&C) prerequisite (R1A).

Score of 5 satisfies the full R&C prerequisite (R1A and R1B).

English Language & Composition Score of 4 or 5 satisfies the first half of the R&C prerequisite (R1A).
Math BC Score of 3, 4, or 5 satisfies the first half of the calculus prerequisite (Calculus 1). Students are still required to take the Calculus 2 prerequisite.
Math AB Score of 3, 4, or 5 satisfies the first half of the calculus prerequisite (Calculus 1). Students are still required to take the Calculus 2 prerequisite.
Statistics The AP Statistics exam does not satisfy the statistics prerequisite.

International Baccalaureate (IB) — Higher Level (HL)

IB Exam Subject Score and Prerequisite Satisfaction
Economics Score of 5, 6, or 7 satisfies the economics prerequisite.
English A: Literature* Score of 5, 6, or 7 satisfies the full Reading & Composition (R&C) prerequisite (R1A & R1B).

Note: The IB Literature & Performance exam does NOT satisfy the R&C prerequisite (R1A & R1B).

English A: Language & Literature Score of 5, 6, or 7 satisfies the full Reading & Composition (R&C) prerequisite (R1A & R1B).
Mathematics Score of 5, 6, or 7 satisfies the first half of the calculus prerequisite (Calculus 1). Students are still required to take the Calculus 2 prerequisite.
